Chicago, IL - May 5, 2005 - itechnik, LLC, global leader in SAP change management, today announced the initiative to certify Symmetry under the SAP certification category BC-CTS.  The process is anticipated to take a couple of months and soon customers will have the option of using Symmetry only under the BC-CTS umbrella as well as using additional functionality provided by Symmetry custom integration into SAP.

Symmetry is itechnik's global IT change management process solution which has the option of integration into SAP using the Symmetry Connector for SAP R/3.  Developed in .NET Symmetry is a client server solution with integration not only to and from SAP but also integration from and to any existing help ticket solution the cutomer migth already have.

"The SAP certification process is relatively simple.  itechnik will replace existing custom APIs with standard delivered SAP BAPIs under the BC-CTS category of certification.  Any remaining custom integration to and from SAP will have the option of turning on and off thereby, giving the customer the choice of either taking the standard BC-CTS certified solution, or if they wish, having added richness with the custom BAPIs itechnik have developed in-house."

Availability

Symmetry BC-CTS certification is anticipated for first customer shipment in July 2005.
